About the

 Therapists

Rachel Johnson, LMSW

Stress, anxiety, feelings of sadness and burn out can feel paralyzing at times. It may be difficult to express these thoughts and feelings to family, partners, parents or best friends. You may want and need something different for yourself, but the idea of getting started may overwhelm you. As your therapist, my focus is to help provide support in a nurturing and empathic environment so you do not have to feel alone during this journey.

Therapy offers a safe place to share the struggles that we face in this world. I walk alongside you to reach your goals, rediscover your strengths, assist you in coping with the hardships, begin to heal and gain peace. I create a safe and comfortable space where you are in control of your own goals in treatment.

I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green!) with a Masters of Social Work and from Rochester College with a Bachelors in Counseling Psychology.  I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults for 15 years in various capacities including residential treatment, emergency shelter, and private practice.
